christmas decorations in France

The last two weeks, every wednesday, pupils tryed to make the same decorations as the partners gave us.

Parents came at scool to help us !

Christmas tree decoration in Latvia.

On Wednesday morning we had the meeting in the hall. The primary school pupils

decorated the Christmas tree with decorations which we brought from the Comenius

visit in Germany. Now we`ve got a very beautiful Christmas tree!

Aerobic as in Germany !

Monday, December 2nd, arriving at school, after letting our schoolbags and coats, we all met  in the school hall. We've had an aerobicsclass. At first, the music was dynamic for us to wake up. The second music,  slower, allowed us to stretch ourselves, to relax and calm down. Everybody imitated the movements of arms and legs given by Mrs. Eleouet. We did it because our teachers saw the German pupils doing this every morning. We took a lot of pleasure in dancing, we thought it was funny, it changed and we could imagine us in Germany.

Wednesday evening

Parents, teachers and all the staff had prepared a wonderfull buffet.

All partners came to school to meet eachother. It was a great pleasure for everybody.

Thursday
Pupils welcomed us with a fantastic ceremony: They sang Brother John in different languages, played a welsh  and a polish legend, and beautiful songs.
  

 
The partners exchanged gifts with the children in a warm atmosphere.
Partners began the meeting and presented their school. Each country gave his heroes's book and their christmas tree decorations.
What a wonderful work!
Wales gave all the partners the Comenius mascot. It's up to us to find a name for him now.
In the afternoon we went to the townhall for the reception with the major.

 

 Afterwards we listened to the choral. Thank you for this unforgettable show!


Friday

We began the day with aerobic!
Pupils presented a show about Advent and sang christmas carols.

All partners visited the school.

 


In the afternoon we went to Lingen.

We visited the sport hall, the kindergarten, and the ice bar.


We discovered the christmas market of Schuttorff before the farewell diner.


Thank you the to germam team for everything. It was a great pleasure to meet the new partners and to begin this new project.

The french team

European Day of Languages in Lubon, Poland

The celebrations of the European Day of Languages in Szkola Podstawowa nr 3 in Lubon took place on 26th September.

The main objective of this year’s celebration was to get to know as much as we can about the partner countries of the Comenius project that our school is taking part in.

The kids together with their teachers and parents prepared display-boards containing information about the partner countries such as flags, languages and places to visit. We have also prepared some food from the countries, so that after the assembly we could have a taste of the countries. 

 A group of students from the third form have also prepared a play in English. It was Cinderella, a story that everybody knows so there was no problem with understanding, even if you just started learning English.

For everyone in the school it was a great lesson about culture and languages. It also caused a rise in the interest in our partner countries.
