Second meeting in Helsinki (26th - 29th march)

After Schüttorf in Germany, the second meeting was in Finland last week.

 

The teachers were welcomed with a great ceremony at school. The pupils presented songs, tales and dances from their country...Congratulations! It was wonderful!

 

During this day, the teachers exchanged the pieces of the portrait of Comenius.

Then they voted for the logo of the project “Heroes”. And the winner was...France but all the logos were fantastic!

The teachers discovered the education system of Finland and the beautiful city Helsinki.

 

 

 A huge thank for the finnish school!!

Today, February 13th, we used Skype with two other countries.
We started with Kandava in Latvia. At first we sang "les restos du coeur" and they sang their song.
Students presented themselves talking about their families and their favorite activities.
Then Estonia has called us and we could see the two countries at the same time.
Estonians are in the countryside in a small school with 26 students, while in Latvia they are

300 students in the school.
We enjoyed speaking English with other students. We heard that they do not have the same accent

as us but we still understood a little.

Next time, it will be with Germany and Denmark.
